This is probably my 3rd or 4th GlossyBox now. I’ve been eyeing them up for sooo long but didn’t know when to make that commitment. I’m so glad I finally did! February’s box, I was eagerly anticipating a valentines box. I was so impressed with 5 full size products ! woohoo! and the cute valentines packaging !
There was two products that immediately jumped out at me. Nicka K 24hr waterproof eyeliner and Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor and I knew I would be trailing straight away.
Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor
I absolutely loved that there was a razor in this months box and its absolutely perfect for underarms and legs. The soap around the outside is perfect, It didn’t blob or fall off unlike other razors I’ve tried with a heavy amount of soap. It has really helped keep everything smooth and hydrated especially with this cold, harsh weather we’ve been having. This product retails at £6.99 and I would defiantly consider this for a repurchase, I really can’t deny a good razor.
Nicka K 24hr waterproof eyeliner
I’m incredibly fussy with eyeliners as they really don’t stay on my lids, they really have to stick. I had high hopes for this product due to it being waterproof, however as I suspected due to the formula on my lid, it just doesn’t have that sticking power and drops in pigmentation. That being said, I quite liked it as its dark brown and good for a natural look.
NAOBAY Protective hair mask volume conditioner
I really like the look of this product as it looks very luxury, I’m easily sold of packaging and branding. This however is not a brand I’ve heard of before and wanted to de some research as the packaging states 99,50% of the total ingredients are from natural origin and 13,5% of the total ingredients are from organic farming. NAOBAY is not tested on animals, I’m really enjoying discovering more brands that are a bit more eco friendly and naturally sourced. I’m very excited to try this mask as I’m currently working my way through other hair care products but this smells so good!
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Floral Slanted Tweezers
You can never have too many tweezers as they are so handy to have in your make-up. These are so cute, I love the printed design on them and the sharp edge. I’ll have to see if they end up replacing my old favourite.
MUA Power pout glaze low voltage gloss
As soon as I saw this, I thought that is defiantly not for me as I’m really not a gloss fan. I kept this in the packaging and thought I’m not going to use this. Thats how sure I was, you can even see it’s still in the film in the photo! Then I thought seeing as Im writing a post on the box, I may as well open it and just try it to be reminded why I don’t like this kind of product. It has a little twisty click at the bottom for the product to come out the top. Then applied it to my lips and I was so surprised how much I liked it. I mean its really creamy and not too sticky and give a sheer ready pinky colour. That seems very well suited for this time of year as my lips are very dry and need that extra barrier that isn’t taking the moisture out of my lips and sitting into the cracks. It just glides straight over and feels a lot like a balm, I actually think I’m going to keep this as my go-to everyday lip product. Which is really saying something for me as I tend to avoid anything but balm at this time of year.
Are you a glossybox fan? I’d love to hear what others think of this months box, so please feel free to leave a comment below!
