I get so excited everytime a Glossybox arrives! It feels like a little treat to myself, I get so excited in the unveiling of the box too. Same as last month, I like to upload my review fairly late as you might be considering signing up to Glossybox or that you want to try one of the products that was in the box this month and I really like to try out the products and see what I reach for the most.
Luxie Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush 504 £10.42
This was by far the most exciting product in the box for me this month. It looks so pretty and the brush is so soft, I’ve been wanting to try this brand for a while now after Kathleen Lights mentioning it on her channel a couple of times. So I thought what a bonus! As the brush is soo soft I’m still struggling getting used to it and how to use it correctly, I may watch a couple of videos on how to get the best out of this brush, as I’m used to using quite dense brushes. I really like that the brush is synethic and cruelty free which for me really does add to the value and I love that the product is full size and you can never have too many brushes!… apart from when you have to wash them.
So Susan Light Diffuser £14
I had never heard of the So Susan brand until Glossybox, I received a previous product in another months box. Which I was really impressed with. So when I saw another product I was quite excited by it! I was surprised to see this was a full sized product though as its quite small but is perfect for my make-up bag and has stayed there since! The first thing about this product is that the bronzer/contour smells like chocolate! I love it, but it does make me hungry every time I used it. The contour can come out quite dark so I really have to blend it out. The highlight is so pretty and quite subtle. I would definitely like to try some more products from their range.
Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum £28.81
I was quite excited to try this serum as I love products with honey in as its meant to be quite good for problematic skin, especially as my skin is quite prone to breakouts. The serum looks like honey but its not at all tacky and goes on the skin quite smoothly. I’m not sure if I would work this into my daily routine, however it is quite nice to use and doesn’t have an overpowering smell. This product was not full size and the price is for a full sized product.
Olay Regenerist Luminous Skin Tone Perfecting Cream £29.99
I have to say when I first saw this product I was a bit unwhelmed by it. I really have a pet peeve of when your sent tiny samples that you can get in store for free. Saying that I still gave it a bit of a try and it is quite a nice moisturiser. I’m not totally convinced that it does as promised apart from my skin did feel soft and hydrated. I just don’t think a sample size is big enough to trial as it promises results after 8 weeks. “Facial moisturizer hydrates skin quickly to even the appearance of skin tone over time. Illuminates, dramatically brightening your skin without a chemical peel. Fades the look of dark spots, age spots, sun spots, and discoloration in just 8 weeks. Formulated with advanced ingredients that penetrate deep into your skin’s surface to help re-energize skin’s appearance. Lightly-scented, fast-absorbing and non-greasy”
-417 Catharsis Vitamin Mineral Shampoo and Conditioner £16.89
I saw this duo and thought ooo these look luxury. Although I’m currently really happy with my current haircare, I wasn’t in a real rush to try these but they look so pretty. So I’ve only used them once, they smell nice but a little bit perfumed. I did find that my hair seemed drier but they really don’t compare to my Toni&Guy shampoo and conditioner, but I am going to give it a couple more tries as I have a feeling its just my hair being a bit fussy at the moment!
